Volunteers Collect for Homeless
During this time of year — even moreso than the rest of the year — retailers would like to have us believe that happiness is achieved through receiving gifts. A few volunteers in Oklahoma refused to buy into that theory, and instead found joy by delivering help to the homeless.
Holding signs, they made it clear they have plenty of life’s necessities but were standing in the place of somebody who needs the basics — food, shelter…hope. Read more about their uplifting story, one that inspires us all to reach out to our neighbors in need and reminds us that the true joy of Christmas is in giving, not receiving.
